Laps loob maailma. Laps eesti lasteraamatu illustratsioonidel

Eesti lähiajaloo lasteraamatuillustratsioonile pühendatud suureformaadilisest, värvikast ja värvilisest albumist leiab äratundmisrõõmu küllap iga eestlane ja eesti kultuurist huvitatu. Et paljude piltide originaalid ei ole säilinud, on reprodel ka teatud kultuurilooline väärtus. Lisatud on kirjanike ning kunstnike lühielulood.
The art album "The Child Creates the World: The Child in the illustrations of Estonian Children's Books" contains about 250 works and 81 artists who have illustrated books by 92 authors in this collection giving a valuable overview of images of Estonian children. The pictures are arranged by subject matter: home, play, study etc. to present a wide generalization of change in the image of child in 150 years. Because many originals are no longer available, reproductions have unique value and meaning for Estonian history of culture. Short biographies of the writers and artists can be found at the end of the book.
